**Job description**:
You will be working as part of Immigration Enforcement ICE North East Yorkshire & Humber (NEYH) or ICE Wales & West England (WWE) Teams. There is a greater operational emphasis, responsibility, and contribution to Immigration Enforcement’s priorities. The Operational Business Support team provides professional operational and administrative support to the management team and Immigration Officers within Immigration Enforcement.

As a Business Support Officer you will have the chance to build your skills by taking on a variety of responsibilities. You will be expected to build strong and effective working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, for example, police, social services, probation, internal partners and our customers. This will mean that you need good people and customer service skills as well as excellent teamwork.

We’re looking for someone with the ability to meet deadlines and excellent attention to detail, along with organisational skills and a willingness to learn.

The role will work collaboratively with other Operational and Business Support functions across differing locations within ICE NEYH or ICE WWE.

You will form part of the Immigration Enforcement team where you will be supporting Immigration officers with their day to day operational work and the management team by providing updated information.

The Business Support Officer role is a fast-moving, reactive environment, requiring strong organisational and management skills, as well as being able to make quick well-judged decisions. We are looking for people to join us who:

- Providing administrative support to the Reporting Teams.
- Liaison with customers, internal stakeholders and operational teams.

**Responsibilities**
- Providing business support to officers within Fleet Management.
- Arranging for MOTs, yearly services.
- Auditing six monthly Driving license.
- Arranging for cleaning office vehicles through contractors.
- Acquiring of Uniform/Kit/Stationary etc.
- Being responsible for orders and returns.
- Working with Radio Airways custodian and Grabba custodian.
- Ensuring building safety and making colleagues aware of issues that are ongoing or works scheduled. Building Risk assessment to be completed.
- Taking responsibility as fire marshal, emergency response officer and managing contractors.
- Security Liaison Officer - issuing building keys ensuring security of the building is maintained by staff and visitors.
- Training liaison, ensuring that mandatory training is completed, inductions are completed, PST refreshers and health assessments are undertaken.
- Local performance data - identifying and able to report on local issues such as cancelled visits/DORs.
- You will be required to complete other activities as part of your daily routines.
