Finance Officer

**PCAS Kent** is rapidly growing and we are recruiting a **FINANCE OFFICER** based at our offices in Faversham.

Reporting to the Finance Manager the successful applicant will be working 35 hours per week to provide effective financial management of PCAS Kent’s company accounts.

**What will you be doing?**
- Accurate and timely payment processing, including registering expenditure for payment on PCAS accounts system
- Preparation and processing of invoices in line with customer cycles
- Support the Credit Control function to maintain customer records to ensure accurate and timely invoices are raised
- Assist with the management of PCAS Finance Mailboxes, including responding to queries or requests for information
- Any other reasonable request

**What are we looking for?**
- Experience in Microsoft packages, in particular Outlook and Sharepoint
- Basic-Intermediate Excel skills
- Good level of numerical skills with the ability to carry out basic calculations
- Good written English skills
- Good communication skills
- Experience of working on Xero accountancy package is preferred but not essential
- Prior experience working in an Accounts environment is preferred but not essential
- Ideally some experience of working in a care provider environment
- Accountancy qualification (or studying towards) is preferred.
