With 8 depots across the UK, M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions provide innovative plant and fleet asset management solutions across M Group Services. We provide our business with more than **9,000 **vehicles and over **25,000** owned or externally hired plant assets.

Our team has grown rapidly and we are responsible for the supply and management of specialist equipment and vehicles, supplying the Water, Energy, Transport, Data and Telecommunication sectors.

As the Trainee Lifting Equipment Fitter you will be part of our Specialist Plant & Equipment team. They are responsible for the provision of equipment to various projects throughout the UK

Working primarily in the Overhead Lines sector, we provide equipment to various projects throughout the UK with a stockholding of 90k+ pieces of equipment.

**As the Trainee Lifting Equipment Fitter, you’ll get the opportunity to**:

- Assist with the load testing of lifting equipment and specialist plant items, ensuring projects are delivered safely and on time
- Prepare, inspect and certify lifting and other specialist equipment in line with LOLER and PUWER regulations
- You will ensure that all items are booked out of the warehouse to the correct site
- Inspect equipment that has been returned from site, identifying damage and ensuring that all items are booked into the warehouse
- Carry out and certify scheduled on-site inspections
- Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to attend projects across the UK and ROI. You may need to stay away from home, sometimes at short notice
