Luton Van Driver

A well-established events company has offered a great opportunity for a van driver in the Walsall area. Our client is looking to add to their team on a permanent basis. The role will involve driving a Luton van, have good customer service and be responsiblefor delivering and collecting a range of event products nationwide. Proactive Personnel are looking for someone that are self-motivated, flexible on overnight stays and weekends and that they can use their own initiative.

**The Job Role**:

- Delivering a range of products, props and event hire items
- To assist at events nationwide
- Handballing on and off the vehicles
- Heavy lifting will be involved
- Working in a team or with a drivers mate/porter
- Completing any relevant paperwork
- Customer facing with customers
- Ensuring that all vehicles are driven in a safe and courteous manner and maintaining a high level of cleanliness of the vehicles
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects directly to the Logistics Manager
- Flexibility of possible overnight stays and weekend work

**Experience / Requirements**:

- Essential_
- Clean full driving license
- Computer literate
- Experience in driving various size vehicles and vans
- Route planning and ability to prioritise workload
- Flexible to work some weekends and evenings
- Experience in a customer focused environment
- Desirable_
