Powder Coater

**Job Title: Powder Coater**

**Location: Widnes, United Kingdom**

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking as required
- Ensure high-quality finishes by monitoring thickness, texture, and appearance of coatings
- Operate and maintain equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Adhere to safety and quality standards at all times
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in powder coating or a related field
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions
- Familiarity with various types of powders and coatings
- Proficiency in using spray guns and other powder coating equipment
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed

Key skills:

- Manual degrease and surface preparation
- Conversant in setting the powder gun to appropriate to the work piece.
- Operation and setting of box oven/s
- Have a keen attention to detail. Responsible for checking their own work.
- Wet Spraying experience is an advantage but not essential.
- 38 ½ hr week Mon Thurs 7.30 -4.30pm Fri 7.30-12.00 noon.
