Manpower Recruitment are urgently recruiting Gritter Drivers to work in the Strabane area.

Essential Criteria:
Class C Licence

Flexible with working hours

Experience in icy/wintery conditions is a distinct advantage.

Main Duties:
Working on an on call basis to grit the roads in Strabane when ice/snow is expected;
Operate vehicles in a safe manner;
Follow a route plan to ensure roads are gritted effectively

Wear appropriate PPE

Available to work at short notice.

Hours of Work:
Working on a rotational basis of being available to cover AM shift (midnight to midday), PM Shift (midday to midnight) and then have a rest week where you would not be on standby to work.
