**GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION**
The Line QA is responsible for ensuring all products are the correct quality and all CCP checks have been completed.
**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
Critical Control Point Checks
- Metal detection Grating - Start, end and every 30 mins
- Metal detection Processing - Start, end and every 30 mins
- Temperature Control - Blast chilling
Finished Product Checks
- Labels - Start, middle and end
- Residual Oxygen - Start, end and every 30 mins
- Pack Integrity - Start, end and every 30 mins
- Weight Checks - Start, end and every 30 mins
Recording live timing of product produced.
Sampling product aseptically for microbiological analysis and organoleptic analysis.
Ensure customers samples are labelled and produced correctly.
Updating traceability documentation with pallet information, production date, best before date and quantity as produced.
Printing box and pallet labels for finished products.
Assisting with packing and palletising during breaks and holidays.
QC check all finished pallets to ensure boxes have been stacked correctly.
Oversee packing of finished products to ensure any issues are identified.
Reporting any contamination issues and any non-conforming product to management.
Moving pallets to Chilled Warehouse with a pump truck.
Assisting with weekly cleaning.
**EDUCATION & TRAINING**
L2 Food Safety
**KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE**
Previous experience in a food manufacturing quality control role
**SKILLS & ABILITIES**
Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel.
Always looking at experiences to take learnings from and to grow.
Must demonstrate strong time management and organisational skills.
Good team member but also the ability to be self-managed and comfortable with making decisions to achieve agreed goals.
Comfortable and confident with verbal and written communication.
Ability to work in a face pace environment with a can-do attitude.
Show attention to detail, accuracy, and good listening skills.
Ensure food safety requirements are fulfilled.
SAGE knowledge would be beneficial
Pay: £11.97 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
