Job advert- Oak Tree School is an exciting collaborative project which will provide a safe and happy learning environment for 150 learners from Year 1 to Year 13, with an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) for Autism Spectrum Conditions and associated complex needs, including Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) and/or Social, Emotional and Mental Health.
- Instrumental to the success of our new school will be the appointment of a Speech and Language Therapist. This role will play a pivotal part in the life of our learners through the development and delivery of a high-quality in-house speech, language and communication provision.
- Experience of working with children and teenagers with ASD
- Experience of working with SEND (especially ADHD and SEMH)
- Knowledge of appropriate therapeutic interventions with a sound knowledge and understanding of the principles of clinical audit.
- HCPC and RCSLT registration.
