Head of Fp&a

The Company Overview:
Butler Rose are pleased to be partnered with a well-known manufacturing company in Staffordshire who are seeking a Head of FP&A in a newly created role, to come in and design/drive reporting processes at group level, playing a key part in contributing to their 5 year plan.

Reporting directly into the Finance Director for UK Group, and working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll have a strong FP&A background and be able to influence Finance and non-finance colleagues at senior level (Global Operations, Logistics, Sales, IT etc)

The role would suit a driven individual who is confident and assured in making and adding weight to business decisions, with the appetite to take the lead in a newly created role and really make it their own.

You'll be working with stakeholders both in the UK and internationally and on occasions travel may be necessary, this role will require someone who will be on-site 5 days per week.

Your new role as Head of FP&A:
You will be responsible for:

- Key contributor to the 5 year plan modelling and coordination
- Creation of a rolling forecast
- Improved accuracy of reporting schedule
- Implementation of new system for collection and dissemination of data
- Create and maintain standardised reporting for business groups & ops teams (working closely with Global Ops Director)
- Develop global reporting pack to include non-financial data
- Drive the use of new systems to enable global reporting
- Provide key support to the decision making process - variance analysis, trends, risks and opportunities.
- Engaging with global finance teams and product heads
- Intercompany reporting and balance project.
- Other tasks / projects as required

The Experience & Qualifications Required:

- Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
- Strong FP&A background
- Strong reporting skills
- Strong overall system knowledge
- Experience working in large global/group organisation(s)
- Ideally Finance Business Partnering experience
- Ideally experience within manufacturing
- Ideally experience of SAP analytics cloud (SAC)
- Commercial decision maker/influencer
- Flexibility to meet the demands
