Fine Wine Works Ltd operates mostly in Europe but has a small HQ based in North Yorkshire. The company, originally set up in the South of France in 2009, supplies wines to yachts in the
Mediterranean and provides WSET (Wine & Spirit Education) qualification courses to yacht crew in Europe.

We are looking to fill the role with a flexible and adaptable person, who is looking for a challenge and is capable of taking on all aspects of account management for the company, alongside some administrative support to the sales team and the training element of FWW’s operations. Currently FWW operates with Sage for accounting and stock management, but there is a likely transition to Microsoft 365 Business Central in 2024/25. The role is very much hands on and reactive and therefore is to be in person at the UK office for most of the time. As the role develops into a F/T position, some WFH would be supported.

Main Duties include:

- Design & management of the chart of accounts
- Supplier Management & Payment schedules
- Client Management: Invoices for wine course clients & recording outstanding payments for both wine sales and students
- Cash flow and exchange rates (trading in Euros and GBP): create and maintain weekly cash flow forecast
- Stock level updates: stock valuation updates, adding new products to Sage, assisting the MD with creation of PO’s and liaising with the French warehouse ref deliveries in
- VAT / TVA: monthly analysis and reports for French TVA for French accountants; quarterly VAT returns for HMRC
- Credit & Debit card payments on Stripe
- Student Admin: maintaining S.I.E. (Student Interest & Enquiries) and databases, assisting with managing student bookings and invoices, assisting with WSET admin

Skills required for the role:

- Experience in using Sage 50 / Microsoft Business Central
- Strong Microsoft Office suite product knowledge (Outlook, Word and especially Excel for Cash Flow management)
- Attention to detail an ability to work under pressure at peak wine sales season (May to October)

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£26,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
