Linear Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a Construction Buyer working with an award winning, ambitious and well-respected contractor developer in Liverpool to join their supportive Commercial Team.

The role:
We are looking for an experienced Buyer who has recently worked within the Construction field with the technical skills to excel in their role. Responsibilities include the following:

- Provide prices for all materials included in project plans and drawings
- Identify potential suppliers and new products
- Contacting a range of suppliers and sub‐contractors to obtain quotations
- Dealing effectively with challenges with suppliers and the flow of materials
- Ensuring compliance with the safety, health and environment requirements of materials and services
- Providing advice to the project team on the predicted cost of individual items
- Negotiating sole trader agreements to maximise profitability for key products
- Collect and analyse data to help predict trends and forecast sales figures
- Delivering reports on sales data, marketing activity and other metrics to the senior management team and other stakeholders
- Compile approved manufacturers/products schedule within company employer requirements
- Negotiate supplier partnership agreements
- Establish credit accounts where applicable
