Junior Copywriter

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, talented Junior Copywriter to join the Lucy & Yak creative team and to work across all points of the business. You will be part of the team responsible for the voice of Lucy & Yak, a voice that speaks to people all around the world. **About You**

You will have a passion for writing and grammar, exceptional time management skills and have the ability to write for every business need. You ideally have experience writing for a brand or organisation with a purpose and have tackled campaigns relating to topics such as: sustainability, LGBTQ+ issues, women’s issues etc.

**What you'll be doing...**

As part of the Creative Marketing team, you will report to the Copy & Content Manager and will work closely with them across all copywriting projects from across the business (Creative, Brand, Product, Operational etc.) You will work with them to help us establish our tone of voice, to resonate with our dedicated Lucy & Yak community, speaking across age groups and demographics.

You’ll be happy getting stuck into every aspect of the business and won’t be afraid to put your hand up with new ideas. As Junior Copywriter you will be responsible for:

- Paid advertising day to day communications
- Writing SEO copy
- Website copy
- Product naming
- Ecommerce listings
- Award submissions
- Press releases
- Point of sale signage for stores
- Event copy and signage, pop-up shops etc.
- Perform proofreading and editing tasks.
- Researching industry trends and competitors to identify new opportunities for copy & campaigns
- Managing your workload effectively

- Permanent full-time role
- 4 day/30 hour week with full time salary
- Salary 24k
