Sales Apprentice

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our site in Redditch and we are currently seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual who would enjoy working in a sales and customer environment, as a Sales Apprentice.

During this 18 month Apprenticeship programme, in addition to the academic learning, you will gain hands on Sales experience by assisting and working with the Sales, Customer Service, Design, Commerical and wider site teams, in many areas including; contacting customers to understand their packaging requirements, raising enquiries, dealing with customer queries, liaising with the relevant teams to ensure enquiries and order are processed swiftly and efficiently. Gaining an understanding of the wider DS Smith business and the UK Corrugated market. A successful Apprenticeship can potentially lead to a variety of roles within the business, in Sales, Design or customer service.

Whilst you will be a based at a site, you will be part of the wider DSSmith team supporting and working towards excellence in Sales and Customer Service.

A competitive Apprenticeship starting salary is offered, with incremental increases as you progress through your training. You will also receive the support of course tutors, workplace coaches and mentors to help you along the way and enable you to develop your skills and potential.

About you
- Able to work independently but also comfortable building strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders around the business
- A positive and can-do attitude
- Strong organisational skills with proven ability to handle multiple tasks at any given time
- Computer literate, especially on Microsoft package
