We are on the lookout for passionate and experienced coaches to join our dynamic team and contribute to the growth of our club.

About Us:
At 2PRU Gymnastics Club, we take pride in nurturing talent and promoting a balanced and healthy lifestyle through gymnastics. We are dedicated to coaching and developing gymnastic abilities across all age groups, fostering a love for the sport and encouraging a lifelong commitment to an active lifestyle.

As a Coach at 2PRU Gymnastics Club, you will:

- Collaborate with fellow coaches to deliver engaging and inclusive gymnastics classes.
- Coach and progress multiple groups of 8 children across various gymnastics apparatus.
- Inspire a love for gymnastics and encourage a balanced and healthy active lifestyle.
- Explore opportunities to work in the wider community, including delivering gymnastics sessions at local schools.
- Contribute to the development of our coaching syllabus and participate in coaching workshops.

Personality Traits:

- Open to feedback and guidance from other coaches.
- Skilled in building rapport with each gymnast while fostering group unity.
- Patient and understanding when working with children progressing at different rates.
- Responsible, resilient, and reflective in coaching approaches.
- Effective communication skills using visual, auditory, and kinesthetic methods.
- Strong teamwork skills, self-motivation, proactivity, and excellent time management.

Essential Qualifications for Paid Roles:

- Recognised Level 1 qualification in Women's Artistic Gymnastics (WAG), Men's Artistic Gymnastics (MAG), or General Gymnastics (GG).
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
- Active "Safeguarding and Welfare" qualification.

Desirable Qualifications & Experiences:

- Level 2 or higher qualification in WAG, MAG, or GG.
- Additional gymnastics coaching qualifications.
- Background as a gymnast.
- Previous coaching experience.
- Experience working with children.
- Basic first aid trained.

Opportunities:
We also offer voluntary/training positions where you can learn how to coach. You will be closely mentored, and once ready, we'll provide the opportunity for you to become qualified.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £8.00-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 16 per week
