**Background**: YMCA Black Country Group is a groupof YMCA charitable companies & associated trading subsidiaries (theassociation) operating in the Black Country and South Staffordshire area. Thecharity employs around 200 staff across several sites, delivering a wide rangeof community services including support and advice, accommodation, family work,health and well-being, training and education.

**Job role**:
To provide support to the YMCA Finance Team on a day-to-day basisensuring the provision of an efficient and effective finance service in supportof the Groups goals, objectives and Business Plan. Working pro-actively toidentify areas for improvement and taking appropriate action in accordance withthe Groups policies and procedures.

**Duties**:

- Processing purchase orders and ensuring correctly authorised in line with policies and procedures.
- Carry out daily processing of all bread card and petty cash accounts, reconciliations, and top ups.
- Credit card statement posting and reconciliations.
- To provide support for all aspects of theaccounts payable function including posting and coding supplier invoices, BACspayment runs, supplier statement reconciliations, aged creditor maintenance andtimely resolution of queries from suppliers or internal customers.
- To provide support for all aspects of theaccounts receivable function including issuing of invoices and processingpayments. Undertaking initial credit control for team invoices.
- To provide support with processing bankpayments, receipts, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and post journals as required.
- Support the Finance Team in the analysis andpreparation of financial information as required.
- Working within pre-agreed timescales andestablished deadlines for timely and accurate processing of financialinformation.
- Support Budget holders with financial informationrequests and copy invoice requests.
- Assistin the preparation of information for audit files and information required forauditors files.
