We are looking for someone to join an enthusiatic and proactive team, innitially this role is for a fixed period of 9-12 months with the view for internal progression and development into other roles

For this role we require you to be on site (Stratford) 2 days per week (usually Tuesday and Wednesday/ Thursday

**What you'll be doing**
As a Logistics Coordinator you will:

- Preparing ATC’s for project teams and commercial management approval with appropriate cost coding to ensure that costs are allocated to the correct budget
- Produce cost estimates for temporary works and update project teams of any changes i.e. additional costs in case of project extension
- Produce and maintain a Logistics Schedule with a Lookahead plan to improve project execution and control allowing team members to focus on upcoming projects and ensure that all required tools, equipment and resources are in place.
- Produce T-8 draft cost breakdown with a clear description of why the resources are required as per supplier quotations and update with actual costs upon project completion.
- Prepare Requisition Forms required for plant delivery to work sites confirming correct project number, delivery address, on-hire and off hire dates

**Knowledge & Skills**:

- Accounting and finance qualifications
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Self motivated to work on their own and deliver against a set of target
- Good time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work with people at various levels both internal Balfour Beatty and external.
- Comply with Balfour Beatty Rail procedures
- Numeracy and IT skillsin MS Office especially excel

**Desirable**:

- Understanding of the railway infrastructure business
- Understanding of working rule agreements
