PGR Builders & Timber Merchants Management Trainee Programme (Essex)

We are looking for dynamic, hardworking and driven individuals to join our Management Trainee Programme, at our rapidly growing Builders Merchants in Essex.

You do not need to have any previous industry knowledge, but what you must have, is the right attitude, drive, passion and desire to succeed, as I am looking for our future leaders of the business.

Applicants must have achieved a minimum GCSE Grade 5, in both English and Math's and hold a valid driving license.

You will work across all areas of the company, learning the business from top to bottom, starting off in our busy branch yards, really understanding how our business operates, then moving into the shop/counter, sales office, and then the supporting central functions.
- Yard, Warehouse and Deliveries.
- Trade Counter / Shop.
- Sales Office - Internal and External Sales
- Transport
- Branch Support Functions: Marketing, Purchase Ledger, Credit Control, IT, E-commerce
- Branch Supervisor
- Branch Management

Our expectations are that over the programme, the trainee will at some point work in all of our Essex branches, helping them gain different experiences that will lead them in the future.

Running alongside this programme, there will be inhouse personal development opportunities and supplier product training to support you on your journey.

Our current Essex branches:
Basildon, Braintree, Brentwood, Chelmsford, Harold Hill, Maldon, Rayleigh, Romford and Southend

This is a full-time position Monday-Friday, starting at 7.00am, plus alternate Saturday mornings
