**Nursery Cook / Housekeeper**

Nursery Cook/Housekeeper required to join our lovely homely nursery.

Hours 10am - 5pm.

We are looking for someone reliable, friendly and caring with an enthusiastic personality and high standards. You must have experience of working as a cook previously, ideally in a nursery or similar setting.

**The Role**:

- **Preparation and delivery of nutritionally balanced, attractive family-style meals for 28 children aged 10 months - 3 years.**:

- **Planning menus, taking into account the nursery budget, food that's in season and nutritional requirements for the children.**:

- **In depth knowledge and awareness of catering for allergies and dietary requirements.**:

- **Ensuring that hygiene and cleanliness within the kitchen is of the highest standard in accordance with Environmental Health requirements and legislation.**:

- **Following kitchen procedures and maintaining records in accordance with Environmental Health policies and processes.**:

- **Must have a current food hygiene certificate and in depth knowledge of ‘Safer Food Better Business’.**:

- **Will require excellent time management, organisation and budgeting skills.**:

- **Capable of coordinating and serving a wide range of healthy, nutritious meals and snacks at set times each day.**:

- **Will be responsible for laundry within the nursery and general housekeeping duties.**:

- **Assisting with care for the children within the nursery (if required).**
