- 4361_1691076114- My client is a large successful market leading supplier who are looking for a Freelance Outerwear Designer to support ideally for five days a week for one month.

Based in London, they are looking for an experienced Outerwear Designer with a fashion forward yet commercial style, who is aware of current trends and has experience across Puffer Jackets and cut and sew Outerwear. You will be working both as part of a team and independently, will have a passion for outerwear, coupled with commercial experience at mid - senior level at either a retailer or a supplier.

This role is a mix of working from home and office based.

**Main responsibilities will include**:

- Carrying out outerwear trend research and development.
- Sourcing of new fabrics.
- Creating detailed technical fashion forward CAD's.
- Work with factories on a regular basis.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers through face to face meetings.
- Work closely with other Internal Designers and Merchandisers.

**Person Specifications**:

- 3-5 years+ experience designing across womenswear Outerwear.
- Strong Casual outerwear / commercial fashion forward portfolio.
- Previous Supplier or retail experience within Outerwear.
- Strong understanding of the critical path process.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong CAD and presentation skills.
