Machine Operator

**Position Summary**:
we are ltd is looking for a Machine Operator to join our team. The Machine Operator will be responsible for ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read blueprints, understand how parts will be assembled, and follow instructions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Produce, finish and pack self-adhesive labels in line with the specification on each job sheet.
- Set up and operate Plain Label and Rewind Inspection Machines using hand tools.
- Set up and operate Turret Rewinders effeciently.
- Inspect and quality check each job while machine is operating and adjust as necessary.
- Finished jobs packed and labelled up correctly and handed over to the Despatch Department.
- Add Operator notes to Job Sheets and MIS software with instructions and operational advice for the set up and production of each job.
- Responsibility for keeping a clean & organised working environment.

**Skills**:

- Ability to read blueprints, understand how parts will be assembled, and follow instructions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
- Ability to follow a step-by-step process with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and interact with others in a professional manner.
- Good oral communication skills.

**Salary**: £11.50 per hour
