This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper/Finance Officer to join our team. Reporting directly to the Chief Officer to support the organisation as a whole, this role is responsible for the day to day administration of the charities finances, processing and providing timely and accurate financial information and ensuring the charities financial management is legally compliant and effective.

**The ideal person**

This is a remote role but you must be able to easily attend our Chester and/or our Winsford offices on a regular basis or as and when required. You will be a good communicator on all levels and across all mediums. You will be well organised, self motivated and an experienced finance officer or bookkeeper. You will have extensive experience working within a similar environment and the ability to understand and monitor our accounts as well as the ability to check accuracy, recognise when things look wrong and have the knowledge to correct.

**Skills**

You will have a working understanding of accrual and cash accounting, excellent people skills, be able to think quickly, stay calm under pressure, prioritise work and make decisions independently. You will have a good understanding of how to manage your own workload and enjoy working as part of a team.
