**Biomedical Research Associate**

A fast-growing biotech start-up is looking for a Biomedical Research Associate to join their research team in London and Manchester. The company’s focus is on technological development of reproductive cells with iPS and ES cells.

This is an amazing opportunity for those looking to join the commercial industry from academia and wishing to continue to progress their career in research.

There are two positions available (One will be based in London, and the other in Manchester)

**TYPE**: Full-time, permanent

**WORKING HOURS**: Monday - Friday

**SALARY**: £40-45K depending on experience (Negotiable)

**START**: ASAP

**LOCATION**: Central London (or Central Manchester)

**Biomedical Research Associate Responsibility**:

- Engage in research in line with our research policy while discussing with the Scientific Director, Senior Scientist, and Scientist
- Experimental work including creation of experimental samples
- Laboratory management such as management and maintenance of reagents, instruments, etc.
- Other work related to research
- Business level fluency in English
- Obtains MSc, MPhil, or PhD in the field of Medicinal, Biomedical, Bioengineering, Molecular Biology, or Genetic Engineering
- Experience in research using E. coli transformation, RT-PCR, etc.

**Biomedical Research Associate Advantages criteria**:

- Research experience in drug discovery and regenerative medicine at private companies
- Experience handling pluripotent stem cells (ES/iPS cells) differentiation induction, FACS, RT-PCR, etc. (good at genetic engineering)
- Knowledge of the reproductive region (especially egg cells)

**All applicants for the Biomedical Research Associate must have the right to work in the UK as the Company is not able to offer visa support.**

**Salary**: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
