- Ensures the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse materials, goods and products in the right location to feed business operations and customer demand.
- Unloading materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stacking them to assigned places. Locating and moving stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment. Operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety which involves driving around warehouse and storage spaces.
- **RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
- Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
- Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
- Transport materials to production workstations
- Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
- Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
- Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
- Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
- Lift equipment and other heavy items when required
- Be aware of all safety-related rules and regulations of CDL
- Operate heavy equipment used at CDL (Fork lift and pallet jack)
- Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures contained in the Codes of Conduct, Information Security, Environmental, Health and Safety and Quality Management Systems
- Report any Health & Safety, Quality, Information Security, Environmental and Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery incidents to your supervisor/line manager
- **ABOUT YOU**
- Reach and Counterbalance fork lift truck licence and/or licence to drive assisted lift equipment
- Full driving licence
- Experience of working within a warehouse setting
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Ability to work accurately and methodically
- Good numeracy and IT skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to plan and organise work
- Ability to accurately complete paperwork and count stock items
- An understanding of health and safety requirements
- Flexible approach to duties and tasks
- Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure / cost of poor quality
- Manual dexterity as physically demanding role

- Restore Digital support customers on their digital transformation journeys. Born out of a scanning company, we still have four main scanning centres across the UK where we are working on large digitisation projects for the NHS, the Ministry of Defence and the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority. And usually, we are busy digitising most of the exam papers undertake in the UK every year.
