**PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**:

- With new exciting client mandates, our high performing Asset Based Lending Team is looking for a Managing Associate (5 years + PQE) to join our expanding London practice.
- You will act for both borrowers and lenders on asset-based lending (ABL), trade finance, and supply chain finance transactions as well as other alternative lending arrangements.
- We provide first class, technical insight and training and are looking for an enthusiastic team member who wants to build their long-term career with us and become a well-rounded lawyer providing quality, commercial advice for our clients.

**THE TEAM**
- Our market leading Asset Based Lending team is one of the largest dedicated ABL teams in the UK, being one of only two Tier 1 ranked practices in the UK (Legal 500).
- Addleshaw Goddard has an enviable market reputation across the asset-based lending (ABL) product, from a new money and portfolio, as well as a restructuring/litigation, perspective.
- The team is made up of talented lawyers from across our offices, with team members working together from our offices in London, Leeds, Edinburgh and Manchester and in conjunction with specialists in a number of European jurisdictions.
- Our client base is second-to-none, comprising UK clearing banks, US and European financial institutions, challenger banks, funds and independent ABL's.

**WHAT TO EXPECT IN THIS ROLE**
- You can expect to work on a full spectrum of ABL transactions, both syndicated and bilateral, and ranging from simple invoice discounting arrangements to structuring full ABL borrowing base transactions, both UK domestic and cross-border.
- Working closely with existing clients to maintain and develop relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to provide timely and quality advice.
- Joining a credible and busy team known for providing a platform where you are encouraged to develop, benefitting from our MA/LD specific development programs, as well as 121 coaching and mentorship.
