Job Title: Lecturer - Sociology and Criminology

**Salary**: up to £36,042 per annum

Hours Per Week: 35 hours per week

We are actively searching for a Lecturer - Sociology and Criminology to join our Adult Education department at our Hamilton Campus for 35 hours per week. We will offer a salary of up to £36,042 per year plus many added incentives including:

**About the Job**
- To assist in the development, organisation and management of high-quality teaching and learning within the Adult Education department.
- This post works with students on a range of programmes to include community programmes, level 2, level 3 and Degree provision, with a main teaching focus of Criminology and Sociology.
- To carry out formal scheduled teaching, tutorials and assessments. To include the preparation of learning materials, students’ assignments and to support students in their studies both during scheduled teaching sessions and during periods of self-directed study.

**About You**
- Recognised full teaching qualification or willing to successfully complete a level 5 teaching award or equivalent.
- Masters degree qualification in a related area.
- Able to evidence successful experience of teaching students at level 3 and above.
