A dynamic and fast-paced Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) business, committed to delivering top-quality products to our customers. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to join our team. This role will be crucial in supporting the Warehouse Manager in various operational and administrative tasks.

**Position Overview**:
As an Operations Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient functioning of our warehouse operations working for the Warehouse Manager. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks, including basic HR functions, administration support, procurement, and people management. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is organized, resourceful, and thrives in a fast-moving environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Human Resources Support:

- Manage employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies.
- Assist in organizing training sessions and workshops for warehouse staff.

Administration:

- Provide administrative support to the Warehouse Manager in day-to-day operations.
- Handle correspondence and communications within the warehouse team and with external partners.

Purchasing and Procurement:

- Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to identify and source suppliers for warehouse products.
- Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and manage inventory levels.
- Negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing.

Rota Management:

- Assist in creating and maintaining staff rotas, ensuring optimal coverage during peak periods.
- Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to address scheduling conflicts and adjustments.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff regarding schedules and changes.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Previous experience in a similar operations or administrative role, preferably within the FMCG industry.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with basic HR processes and procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
