We are seeking a Contract Operations Manager to join our established, award-winning Landscaping and Ground Maintenance company based in Warwick. You will be primarily supporting Ground Maintenance work for a range of clients, seeking opportunity to growexisting contracts, including development of new contracts starting this year

The contracts primarily support the Ground Maintenance work for Housing Association contracts, which on top of the contracted work, typically sees £200k of additional works, with an opportunity to grow that further.

There will be a new contract that will fall within this area worth £150k, so the area is growing, and we are looking for someone who can liaise with clients to maintain the strong relationships already in place as well as identify new opportunities and buildupon what has already been achieved.

They will need strong operational and financial awareness, in terms of being able to understand their accounts (P&L) etc. There is support from our Management Accounts but someone who already has familiarity in that area is a massive plus.

**Ground Maintenance experience is essential for this position.**

You will be required to work closely with Supervisors and other Managers to ensure the contract requirements are exceeded. As well as this, you will also be required to manage the responsive areas of the contract, including budget and cost control, clientliaison.

**Responsibilities**:

- Using sound financial and accounting principles, manage contract budgets to deliver on corporate and local contract financial targets
- Develop key business relationships with all relevant customers/external parties to ensure service delivery excellence and maximise new business opportunities
- Successfully lead and motivate your team to ensure a winning mentality
- Have a strong financial awareness and ability to understand accounts, i.e. P&L
- Familiar with Management Accounts would be advantageous
- Responsible for estimating and pricing work for clients

**Requirements**:

- Full UK Driving License
- Experience of managing contracts and resources and delivering to budget and performance targets
- Experience in Ground, Garden or Landscaping industries is essential
