Metal Polisher

LIT Fabrications are a manufacturer of commercial catering furniture, bespoke food servery counters & bars, based in Bredbury, Stockport.

Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking an experienced Metal polisher to join our rapidly expanding team.

The successful applicant must be a competent metal polisher, with the ability to manufacture high quality stainless-steel products.

**Main duties involved in the role are as follows**:

- Must be proficient in all aspects of metal polishing including buffing, grinding and graining of Stainless Steel.
- Must be proficient and efficient in using hand tools to complete all metal finishing on a variety, and thickness and size of products.
- Use hand and pneumatic tools to carry out daily tasks.
- Ensure areas are kept clean and tidy and Health and Safety procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Any other duties as required and within the skill set of this role.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Must possess previous polishing experience.
- Experience of working on a shop floor environment.
- Have the ability to work within a team or on your own.
- Be able to use your own initiative to solve problems.
- Possess a ‘can do’ attitude, with the ability to pay attention to detail in all tasks required.

Basic 38 hours per week plus overtime.

Working hours: 7am - 3.30pm Mon - Thurs, 7.00am - 1.00pm Fri
