**Job summary**:

- You will work in our eTrading team to deliver eFX liquidity to our client franchise and to risk manage the principal risk taken by the automated risk management system.
- The customer base includes Corporates, Real Money Managers, Hedge Funds, Client Banks as well as the CA group.

**SPECIAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS**:

- Managing and monitoring the automated pricing and risk management systems
- Microstructure analysis of market data and statistical analysis of client flows
- Liquidity management
- Communicating with management and key stakeholders on a regular basis to help grow the electronic FX franchise
- Assist in creation of improved algorithms for pricing, hedging and automated risk-management
- Working closely with relevant stakeholders in order to deliver improvements to the pricing and risk management systems

- Experience in electronic FX principle market making
- Statistical analysis and interpretation of quantitative data
- The ability to derive valid conclusions using a completely data-driven approach

**Desirable**:

- Experience in pricing / hedging / risk management models

**Required skills**:
**Essential**:

- Self-starter, highly numerate with excellent communication skills

**Desirable**: Experience in coding so that prototypes can be created for IT to “industrialise” when we go to production

**Competencies required**:

- Self-starter, highly numerate with excellent communication skills

**Other information**:

- Ability to work flexible hours/shifts to cover US and Asia business hours

**Technical skills required**:
**Essential**:
Strong working knowledge of Python and/or R
- Tick database experience
- Mathematically minded
- Good understanding of FX market microstructure

**Desirable**:

- Knowledge of machine learning / time series modelling
- Q/KDB+
- Java
