We are seeking catering assistants for our client based around the Whitechapel area. You will be working as part of a team in a busy restaurant in a healthcare setting.

**Responsibilities**:

- To assist with basic food preparation and other comparable tasks as directed by the Catering Manager and Head Chef
- To assist with the service of patient meals; loading the food trolleys and ensure that these are delivered at the specified time and plugged into the relevant point on each ward.
- Deliver catering supplies to wards and departments including call orders Menu collation, picking of all ward food according to menu choice and record information
- Washing up, as well as general cleaning duties within the kitchen

**Qualifications and experience**:

- Previous experience in the hospitality industry, such as working in a restaurant preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

**Job Type**: Temp to perm
