Refuse Loader

Position Overview: As a Refuse Loader, you will play a vital role in the efficient collection and disposal of waste materials in Nairn. You will be responsible for loading refuse onto collection vehicles, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and contributing to the overall cleanliness and appearance of the local area.

Key Responsibilities:

- Load refuse onto collection vehicles in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist the driver in navigating collection routes and identifying designated pick-up points.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work environment and collection equipment.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and addressing concerns professionally and courteously.

**Requirements**:

- Ability to work effectively in a physically demanding role, including lifting and carrying heavy loads.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Flexibility to work early mornings and potentially on weekends or holidays as required.
- Previous experience in waste management or a similar field is advantageous but not essential.
