Nottingham, United Kingdom Games Workshop Full time

Are you excited by the opportunity to work as part of a team developing products from concept to finished design in a highly creative and collaborative environment?

Are you practical in your approach to solving problems, by getting hands on to understand how something is made and used?

We have exciting opportunities across our Horus Heresy and The Old World teams as we’re looking for designers to join our Design Studio who can realise ideas using the digital design software of Freeform and Zbrush.

If you have the drive to find ways to create and improve miniatures this could be the job for you You’ll work collaboratively with a committed team responsible for the entire process, from design through to pre-production engineering. You’ll be responsible for creating exciting new plastic models using leading edge CAD technology that are complementary and consistent to the Warhammer intellectual property.

Diligent and committed to delivering high standards of quality, we’ll look to you to work on detailed briefs as you deliver finished designs of the highest quality to an agreed schedule. You’ll be responsible for preparing the approved design through stringent engineering to ensure each design can be ultimately produced as a high-quality commercial plastic kit. This could include splitting and drafting models to an agreed-upon frame format to ensure they are appropriate to manufacture in our manufacturing facility and easy for our customers to assemble.

Delighting our customers is at the heart of everything we do and our creative teams have the unique responsibility of creating the products that excite our customers. As a Miniatures Designer, you can let your imagination flourish as you work in an environment where your ideas can be shared freely. What makes this role special is that you’ll confidently communicate ideas for new and improved designs that demonstrate a deep passion and understanding for our characters, worlds, and stories.

If you have the drive to constantly improve your skills and knowledge and are passionate about designing the best fantasy miniatures in the world while working to deadlines, then we’d love to hear from you
