Are you a Electrical Design Engineer with a background in cable wiring looking to join an internationally recognised, global company where you will have a major influence within some prestigious projects?
You will be working within a project team of leaders within their industry, you will use your skills whilst working on brand new and existing projects. You will be part of the delivery team and the role will involve developing and testing electrical systemsand elements across the project lifecycle. The company aim to be at the forefront of industry led technology and this is a key role where you will have a significant impact within the delivery of an exciting new project.
The business are globally recognised and you will have the benefit of working for a project that is expected to be long standing & sought after within the market
This role would suit an Electrical Design Engineer with previous experience in harness design, using CAD packages and general electrical design.
**The Role**:

- Electrical design on both new and existing products.
- Key role in the Research and Development team.
- Working for a globally recognised brand.
**The Person**:

- Electrical Harness Design, Draughting and packaging of electrical components (sensors, ECM’s, actuators etc.)
- 3D CAD experience - Creo, Pro - Engineer would be ideal, but happy to cross train from other 3D Package.
- Background in wiring/cable harness Design & Draughting.
- Able to produce electrical work processes, instructions & operating procedures
- Create Bill of Materials (BoM), Electrical schematics and wiring diagrams utilising design software
- Looking to work on an exciting project within a global known company.
- Opportunity to work on new product development.
Hourly Rate: £35 - £40 (FCSA Umbrella)
This role is deemed inside IR35, so payment options would be either FCSA Approved Umbrella or PAYE
Hybrid working available for this role, it will not be fully remote though. Person will need to be available to attend site when project dictates, average 2-3 days pw at times
Location: Peterborough, Cambs
