As the engine room of our pubs - our kitchens are busy, high-pressured environments to work in. Kitchen porters are the backbone of our kitchen and as such this is a very busy but varied role. As a kitchen porter your mission is to support the kitchen team by keeping everything clean and to keep up with the demands of the dishwasher This is a tough job and needs someone efficient to keep up.

We are looking for someone who is organised, has good communication skills, excellent hygiene/cleaning standards and can follow instructions. You will be reliable, hard-working and flexible and able to work as part of the team. Previous experience is not required although enthusiasm and a genuine interest in working in a busy kitchen is essential.

**Our Amazing Pub**

The Waggon and horses has been beautifully refurbished and has a whole new look and feel with a complete refurbishment of the pub, restaurant, and bedrooms. The Waggon and Horses sits in the heart of the countryside in the village of Eaton, between Congleton and Macclesfield. The surrounding area is a haven for visitors who wish to explore the fantastic countryside from stunning countryside to historic towns and family attractions. Step inside this country pub and you will find open fires, homecooked, traditional pub food and six beautifully refurbished en-suite bedrooms. The rooms include a fully accessible ground floor bedroom, twin rooms suitable for business guests and dog friendly rooms.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £11.44-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 35 per week

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
- Weekends only
