We are looking to recruit a Business Development Associate to work for a leading Digital Archive organisation.

This hybrid role, working from home with some office travel, offers a yearly bonus and is working within a talented dedicated team. This role would see you nurturing and developing business partnerships, working to target academic institutions throughoutthe UK.

This is a unique role that would allow any academically likeminded individual to really thrive, submerging yourself in the extensive and fascinating archive to champion the material to already well-established relationships with clients.

As Business Development Associate you will need:

- A genuine interest and an enthusiasm for the humanities, taking pleasure in speaking to experts in their field about their research and teaching
- Be able to demonstrate, or quickly learn, consultative selling skills and enjoy providing an exceptional and efficient service to our customers, including the ability to manage a longer-period sales cycle involving multiple key stakeholders
- Have exceptional time management and organisational skills with the ability to oversee and support a broad range of accounts across multiple countries
- The ability to be proactive in seeking out new business opportunities, including those arising at conferences where you will be representing your company
- Effective communication skills are a must, with the capacity to build strong relationships and work efficiently with both internal and external stakeholders
- You will have a desire to work both as a team and an individual and a strong ambition to reach and exceed sales targets
