Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated English graduate with a passion for making a positive impact on student's lives?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking an English Graduate to join our team in a SEMH School in Blackburn. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with pupils who have challenging behaviour, social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, and deliver English and Reading Interventions. You will play a crucial role in providing essential support to students from Key Stage 2 up to Key Stage 4, helping them unlock their full potential.

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver tailored English and Reading Interventions to students with challenging behaviour, SEMH, and various learning needs.
- Create engaging and interactive lesson plans to promote literacy skills development and improve reading comprehension.
- Implement strategies and interventions to support student's progress and attainment in English.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
- Collaborate with the school's multidisciplinary team, including teachers, special educational needs coordinators (SENCOs), and behaviour support staff.
- Monitor and track student's progress, providing regular feedback and reporting on their achievements.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in English or a related field.
- Passion for education and a desire to work with students who have challenging behaviour and SEMH needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational or mentoring capacity is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 4 English curriculum and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
- Resilience, patience, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work within a team and independently.
