**Drivers Direct Recruitment** are looking to recruit a **Class 2 Drivers** on behalf of our client to join their team in Blackburn.

**Hours of work**:

- Days 0400 - 0600 starts.
- 1 or 2 nights out per week maybe necessary.

**Salary**:

- £10.50 to £16.00 per hour.

**The Role**:

- Delivery of glass on HGV 2 vehicles.
- Delivering to businesses, residential addresses & building sites.

**The Role**:

- Delivery of glass on HGV 2 vehicles.
- Delivering to businesses, residential addresses & building sites.
- Most of loads on stillage’s and unloaded by FLT, some handball may be required.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures.
- Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
- To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner.
- To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift.

**Essential Skills**:

- Good communication skills.
- Good customer relations.
- Have a safe driving record.
- Hold a valid **HGV 2 / Cat C** licence.
- No more than 6 minor penalty points.
- No DR’s, IN’s or DD’s offence codes due to insurance stipulations.
- Driver qualification (CPC) card.
- Digital tacho card.
