- 1**About this Role**:
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
+ To supervise children and ensure their safety during the lunchtime period, both inside and outside.

+ To be familiar with our Health and Safety Policy and to be vigilant in the control of any risks.

+ To be aware of pupils with dietary requirements and report any concerns to the Senior LTSA, catering staff or office.

+ To ensure the children are encouraged to try food, use cutlery and observe table manners in the dining hall.

+ To ensure that all incidents are reported to the school office and class staff when handing over after lunch.

+ To be vigilant when outside and ensure that our children are behaving and playing safely.

+ To be responsible for setting out the lunchtime play equipment and organising games with the children.

+ To supervise children at the end of the lunchtime period and ensure they go to class in a quiet and orderly manner.

+ You will be expected to undertake Safeguarding and First Aid Training as part of your role and any other relevant training required.

+ To be familiar with the School Safeguarding Policy and Keeping Children Safe in Education 2023

+ To work within the professional expectations highlighted in the Trust Staff Code of Conduct - including the utmost confidentiality which is essential for school staff.
