Daily Housekeeper

**Daily Housekeeper / Companion needed for an older gentleman near Birmingham
This is a lovely role helping support an independent older gentleman in his 2 bed 2 bath barn conversion home. The role is general housekeeping to a high standard as well as cooking the evening meal for him and driving him to and from appointments and excursions/ shopping etc. ( Car provided for work purposes). He is fit, active and well - no medical requirement needed but you will be the first point of contact for him in case of problem( Family live abroad and his partner is 100 miles away ) so must be flexible with this and also happy to give space when needed ( eg. When partner visits).

We are looking for someone with a sense of humour, informal and friendly who is reliable, flexible and who works to a high standard.

General duties:

- General hands on housekeeping - Cooking for the gentleman and any guests
- Driving to activities
- Keeping house tidy and organised
- Hoovering and dusting
- Shopping and local errands, dry cleaners /post office
- Occasional weekend help, can swap for a weekday off or do overtime.
- Confident Driver - can use family car or own vehicle if you prefer
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Must be a great communicator and capable of running the home
- Have a pro-active attitude and good eye for detail
- Happy, bubbly and positive personality

DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
