Farnham, United Kingdom Porthaven Care Homes Full time

Bourne Wood Manor Care Home
Bourne Wood Manor care home is a modern, purpose-built care home providing expert 24-hour residential, dementia and nursing care for up to 64 elderly residents. The home offers private ensuite bedrooms, a cinema, hair salon and a beautiful library.

**About the role**:
Bring your nursing training to life and make a rewarding difference to people's lives every day with Porthaven.

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you'll provide exceptional care to our residents. It's all about looking after their physical, psychological and social needs to help us deliver the quality of care they deserve.

We'll look to you to create a safe and supportive environment for residents with range of physical and mental needs, whilst also relying on your professional judgement to make critical clinical decisions. You will become a champion in assessing and care planning for specific clinical requirements by providing holistic health assessments and triaging Resident's needs.

You'll have the autonomy to do things the right way - and be valued and respected for what you do.

**About you**

You'll already be a qualified and experienced RGN/RMN with a valid NMC pin number and have a good knowledge of the most up-to-date clinical practices. It would be useful if you have some experience of working in a care home environment, but this is not essential. What's just as important is that you're organised, have great communication skills, and that you're flexible enough to work shifts. You should also be willing to develop your skills and undertake additional training where required.

We also believe in giving you a great career pathway and we are committed to supporting you on your journey.

**What Porthaven offers**:
Working with us will result in some excellent rewards & benefits including:

- A competitive salary with flexible working hours.
- Recommend a friend bonus scheme.

- FlexiPay, which gives you the option to access some of your salary ahead of payday.
- Access to an award-winning Employee Assistance Programme for you and your family.
- GP Online - fast access to a_GP_ for medical advice and prescriptions.
