We are looking for our new **Accounts Receivable Lead** to manage on-site, a small team of credit control professionals who are responsible for ensuring that as a business we develop and maintain an effective and professional billing and credit control process for all Miscellaneous Income streams (circa £500m).

In this role you have an important part to play in driving the maximisation of our Miscellaneous Income streams and will have exposure to senior levels of Finance staff and operational managers. Your goal will be to deliver a world class processing service for non-tariff-based sales income and its subsequent cash collection.

Key accountabilities include:
Ensure the daily activities in the Miscellaneous Income - accounts receivable department are performed in a timely and accurate manner and that the team’s needs, and workload are being properly managed. These activities include billing, collection via telephone/dunning, write-offs, and other adjustments using SAP.
- Train staff and manage the career development of the team, ensure that adequate team bandwidth is available for fluctuations in workload.
- Co-ordination and production of departmental KPI’s, including regular review and challenge of the KPI’s to drive and improve team performance.
- Demonstrate outstanding customer service to internal and external customers and manage relationships with all key stakeholders to this team.
- Work closely with income owners, Finance, Information Technology, and operational managers to evaluate existing end to end business processes to identify enhancements and implement process improvements.

In this role we will ideally be looking for you to have a Chartered Institute of Credit Management (or equivalent) qualification or working towards completing this. We’d love you to have experience of implementing and utilising process management metrics within an organisation. As well as strong experience of managing high volume transactional process teams and driving their performance. If you have experience in using process analysis and improvement methods that would be fantastic.
