- Job descriptionWe are seeking to appoint an ambitious and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support and lead our nurture room. This role will also be to support classroom practice and children's progress.

**You will be required to;**
- Have a nurturing approach to promote and reinforce pupil self-esteem through praise and encouragement;
- Be sensitive to the welfare and care of the pupils both physically and emotionally;
- Work with individuals and groups of pupils to succeed with targets as outlined by the SENCO and class teacher;
- Develop pupils self-management and regulation strategies;
- Develop communication and social skills;
- Provide and support planning of creative, enriching activities and opportunities for pupils;
- Set up, plan and maintain a positive learning environment in the Nurture Group Room;
- Support positive play at lunchtimes;
- Support individual pupils with specific programmes as identified by the SENCO and phase leads.
- Be innovative and creative practitioner with a drive and passion to ensure all students achieve
- Have enthusiasm for working with a range of students with differing needs and abilities
- Have Initiative and a keenness to be involved in all aspects of school life;
- A proven track record of teaching classes, good working relationships and professionalism;
- Confidence in working independently with groups of students.
