We are recruiting on behalf of a variety of children's services within Suffolk, we are looking for passionate, enthusiastic and dedicated support staff local to Bury Saint Edmunds, Suffolk. This role is to support children and young people with various additional needs, including physical and emotional challenges.

We are looking for support staff that are keen to change the lives of children and young people facing challenging times in their lives. We work with a wide range of services to support within close family settings, crisis support, children's homes, residential and supervised accommodation.

We have 4 week rolling rotas to offer the flexibility to fit work around your lifestyle, with the opportunity to support with days, sleep ins and waking nights. Your hours will range from 9-24 hour shifts dependant on requirements for the service and young people. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a variety of young people in many settings across Suffolk, and really have a lasting impact on their lives.

**Requirements**:
You will maintain a nurturing, positive and safe living environment within the unit, in order to meet the needs of the Young People. You will be alert to the needs, safety and wellbeing of the Young People. Responsibilities include:

- You will have worked in a care setting with young adults previously
- Possess excellent people skills
- Have a passion for supporting young people with emotional behavioural difficulties
- Be able to develop and maintain good working relationships
- Be able to demonstrate positive personal authority
- Have great communication skills
- Driver with own transport due to rural locations
