**About the role**:
Reporting to the Commercial Director, the **Export Manager** will be responsible for the continuing development and growth of the export business, including managing and motivating a small team of sales, administration and warehouse staff.

As well as maintaining regular contact with key customers, you will oversee, maintain and develop sales strategies for our UK export agency business, ensuring the on-time delivery of promotions and products to our clients customer base across the world.

**Responsibilities as theExport Manager will include**:

- Managing the Export team to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day activities
- Managing, developing and monitoring the sales strategy for the Export Account Managers
- Managing day-to-day queries for your own customer accounts
- Frequent international travel to customers and trade shows
- Analysis and reporting on business activities
- Developing a customer promotion plan for all customers, setting up promotions and analysing results
- Identifying new product requirements and market opportunities
- Setting department and global pricing policy as per Export demands

**What the company looking for in their Export Manager**:

- Significant experience working in either a sales or export role
- Proven experience of identifying and developing new export customers and markets, including a working knowledge of exporting processes
- The ability to manage and motivate a team of administrators and sales staff
- Ideally experience in the garage and workshop industry
- The ability to communicate technical information and sales strategies clearly and with confidence
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to project a calm and professional image to senior executives and business owners
- Experience of analysing and reporting sales and business activities
- A flexible approach to working hours and confidence travelling overseas
- The ability to work autonomously without direct supervision
