We are a family run hotel, involved within the tourism & hospitality industry. The individual will be a part of a close and expanding team, working closely and alongside the management.

As a Hotel receptionist, your role includes making guests feel welcome, dealing with customer enquires for our hotel & cottages bookings. You need to be friendly, polite and professional at all times, be able to multi task, and deliver a warm welsh welcome to our guests.

**Your main duties would include**:

- ability to use a telephone switchboard and a computerized reservations system
- completing procedures when guests arrive and check-out
- reconciling & balancing at the end of a shifts and perform end of day - to include handling cash, cheques and card payments
- taking and passing on messages to guests or staff members
- dealing with special requests from guests (like booking theatre tickets or storing valuable items)
- dealing with customer service queries
- taking enquirers for wedding, conference, group bookings and party bookings
- enquiries with regards to our new Spa, Gym & Treatments
- also may include working in other departments such as housekeeping, table waiting and bar work

Further to this, there may be an opportunity to develop leadership skills, taking on responsibilities with conference bookings, marketing and social media.

Previous work experience in hospitality essential, but full training will be given. Welsh language would be a positive extra.

**Hours**

Full time position - You would be required to work flexibly on a rota to include evening, weekends and public holidays, between the hours 7.30am to 10.30pm.
