Do you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for working with glass? AV Glass and Glazing LTD is seeking a skilled and meticulous Glass Operative to join our team in the manufacture in Insulated Glass Units. As a Glass Operative, you will be an integral part of our manufacturing process, contributing to the creation of various glass products with precision.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Utilize cutting-edge techniques and specialized equipment to transform raw glass into finished products.
- Assemble and fabricate glass products, adhering to strict specifications and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct thorough inspections to ensure the quality and accuracy of finished products.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Prioritize safety protocols to maintain a secure and compliant working environment.
- Assist in managing inventory by tracking materials and supplies necessary for glass production.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace to enhance overall efficiency.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Glass Operative or in a similar role within the glass manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in glass cutting, shaping, and fabrication techniques.
- Familiarity with specialized glass fabrication tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills for recording production data.
- Physical strength and ability to handle glass panels of varying sizes.
- Understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide administrative support to the team.
- Manage the daily operations of the office.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and vendors.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
- Perform data entry and filing duties.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations.
- Provide support for special projects as needed.

**Salary**: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
