Painter and Decorator

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Painter & Decorator to join a young, fast growing company. We are looking for a motivated painter & decorator that has extensive experience in plastering and all things painting, to join our ever growing team on a self employed basis and with the desire for long-term work.

Our company is a multiple trade property service company based in Crawley, West Sussex and covering the Surrey & Sussex area.

**Responsibilities**:

- Be fluent in English speaking as you will be meeting different clients on a daily basis.
- Be able to transport yourself from point A to point B (Essential)
- Be aware of surroundings at all times and maintain a professional working manner at all times.
- Perform various trade tasks such as plastering, and all things painting & decorating
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on residential and commercial properties
- Respond to service requests and complete work orders in a timely manner
- Have knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with safety regulations
- Ability to work as part of a team and also as an individual.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively

**Experience**:

- Proven experience in plastering, and painting & decorating
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Have previous work experience and be able to provide 2 references on request.
- Proficient in using a variety of hand and power tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Have a valid CIS
- Must have your own tools
- Uniform provided

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £130.00-£150.00 per day
