The successful **Regional Relationship Manager** will have responsibility for being the operational point of contact for NHS Trusts and Health & Social Care organisations and referrers into an NHS programme. You will support volunteer recruitmentand experience within a geographically defined region(s) in England for a Charity on behalf of NHS England.

**Client Details**

You will join a large Charity, working across the multiple Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) within various regions, providing strategic oversight whilst managing a pool of volunteers to deliver the programme. You will identify what is needed to successfullymanage the delivery in local areas and will also be involved in the recruitment of volunteers to ensure appropriate resources are in place to successfully deliver against the agreed programme targets.

**Description**

**The key responsibilities of the Regional Relationship Manager**:

- Delivering sessions to understand the local support requirements which the NHS programme can provide for NHS Trusts and Health & Care organisations.
- Provide subsequent one-to-one support for those struggling to use the system, to help them engage and gain confidence on the system.
- Responsible for circulating best practice and updates to guidance and documentation.
- Meet regularly with ICS and Regional Leads to report on delivery and any required actions taken to improve performance.
- Strategic leadership and management of volunteer recruitment within your region(s) to support the needs of referrers into the NHS programme
- Lead the recruitment of volunteers in specific regions and implement a local volunteer recruitment plan
- Monitor volunteer sign-up numbers for the Premises and Locations in your region, as well as issue additional push notifications when more volunteers are required
- Run volunteer welcome webinars, collate feedback from volunteers and premises & locations to develop improvements and listen to volunteer voice.
- Set objectives and standards for the team, providing clear objectives and activities for individuals that will enable successful delivery to well-defined time, quality, and cost standards.
- Be the escalation point for volunteers where the Call Centre or Problem Solving Team cannot resolve local issues
- Be the point of contact for members of the public in the region who wish to raise a concern or complaint about a volunteer.
- Co-ordinate and integrate the work of your team, including dealing with multiple priorities and making proposals for wider service planning purposes to ensure all KPIs are met, to include forward quarterly planning and regular monitoring of targets.
- Maintaining information systems, and following all necessary policies, procedures and best practice guidance.

**Profile**

**The successful Regional Relationship Manager**:
**Knowledge**
- Knowledge and understanding of the Health & Care systems, NHS Trusts, and Clinical Commissioning Groups
- Commercially aware with relevant experience of managing a similar service types
- Understands how to use basic data to plan, monitor trends and provide forecasts
- Comfortable communicating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries and issues
- Act advocate of the programme to both internal and external stakeholders
- An awareness of the principles of safeguarding (Adults and Children).

**Skills**
- Ability to build positive and effective relationships and partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to act on own initiative within agreed parameters
- Excellent communications ability at all levels
- Good level of literacy and numeracy
- Experience of project management and forward planning
- Ability to use standard IT systems proficiently
- You must be able to travel around a geographic area either by holding a UK driving licence with access to a vehicle or easily readily available public transport links

**Experience**
- Experience of working in partnership with other local and statutory organisations
- Experience at management level
- Experience of managing projects and working to motivate people to achieve positive outcomes
- Experience of running engagement activities with internal and external stakeholders
- An understanding of working with volunteers and volunteer groups is desirable

**This role involves some travel across a geographic area. It is expected that the post-holder be flexible and efficient with their time and utilise Teams, Conference facilities and face to face interchangeably.**
