Milestone Infrastructure is currently looking to recruit a Working Site Supervisor (Blue Hat) / Foreperson to work on our SIA Hinkley Point C contract in Bridgwater, Somerset.

Milestone Infrastructure Services head-up the SIA service for NNB site operations. In conjunction with the Core maintenance contract, Milestone deliver Civil Engineering schemes which are predominantly enabling works to the main Nuclear Power station construction.

As a Working Supervisor, you will be part of our SIA Core Service team who are responsible for managing and delivery for the Core service maintenance contract on the HPC site.

**As the Working Supervisor your duties & responsibilities will be**:

- Operational Supervision of our Materials and welfare compound.
- Stores and stock level control, and undertaking associated ordering and processes.
- Taking delivery of materials
- Ensuring the compound remains in an orderly and tidy condition.
- Operational support and supervision of the Siltbuster Sweeper tip and Wheel wash systems.
- Lead role in the Winter service operational delivery
- Potential for covering shifts in unsocial hours on Winter Service requirements
- Operational supervision of Core service maintenance duties
- Review Working Documentation to ensure the content of the documents are sufficient and relevant to the tasks to be carried out.
- Setting a strong example to others in the correct behaviours on site.
- Accept permits and include in the work pack / issue to working party. (supply WAFs to SHEQ Manager)
- Carry out, Setting To Work of relevant operatives and sub-contractors.
- Ensuring safe systems of work are followed.
- Ensuring work areas are tidy and secure.
- Ensuring safety standards are maintained.
- Responsible for plant delivery sign offs, checks/audits and utilisation.
- Completion of HSE Inspections (minimum 2 per month)
- Ensure the relevant Codes of Conduct are respected and followed within the site team. Lead by example to drive the correct behaviours.
- Drive and Implement Innovation ideas.
- To ensure the highest possible Health, Safety & Environmental standards are employed across the service.
- Report all HSE incidents to line supervisor.

**Skills & Knowledge Requirements**
- A good practical construction knowledge
- Computer literate, with a basic understanding of Microsoft word / excel and outlook.
- Experience of working in a supervisory role within an operational team
- Good communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to communicate with the Client and operational team.
- A good understanding of health & safety in construction.
- UK Driving Licence
- SSSTS Qualification preferred.
- You must be able to provide a 3 year work/unemployment /education history required for vetting process in line with HPC protocols
- The site is located remotely and a bus journey of 45 minutes each way is required to gain access
- You must be able to obtain a HPC pass
