Hours: Part-time, Saturdays

Hourly rate: £25 - £30 per hour

About Us:
PHOEBE is an Ipswich-based registered charity that aims to uplift and empower women, young people and children from BME and migrant backgrounds. We offer specialist advice, information, casework, advocacy and support and counselling services to black and ethnic minority women and children.

We host a Basketball session for our Youth Group aged between 16-17 on Saturdays, and we are looking for a Basketball Coach to be responsible for instructing players during these sessions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Teaching players the rules of the game
- Providing mentorship
- Devising play strategies
- Developing ideas to improve players performance

Qualifications and Essential Skills:

- L2 (or higher) Basketball Coach Award
- First Aid Training
- DBS
- An understanding of the importance of safeguarding children
- Previous experience with basketball
- A strong understanding of the game
- Strong leadership skills
- Patience
